My law firm isn’t the first business I’ve ever owned. I’ve been an entrepreneur for a long time. One of the most frustrating things when you’re new is figuring out how to get your first clients! I understand the struggle of figuring out how to get things moving — especially if you’re working a 9-5 at the same time!

I know a lot of new business owners become overloaded with information. Which is understandable. There’s a lot out there! The bad thing about that is you become so overwhelmed that you don’t execute anything you’re learning!

I want you to be able to execute what I’m sharing with you, so I promise not to overload you with too much at once!

First thing’s first…

Your foundation has to be TIGHT!

You need to be very clear on who you are, what you do, and who you do it for! If you’re unsure of who you are or what you do, how can you expect your clients have to faith in it? Would you give your money to someone who doesn’t seem confident in what they’re doing? I don’t think so!

Write down a 1-2 sentence summary. This is going to be the base of what you be do next!

Networking is an entrepreneur’s best friend!

You may think you don’t know anyone. But guess what? You do! The first step in marketing yourself and your business is letting all your closest family and friends know!

Email every single person you know and tell them you’re in business! Tell them what it is you’re doing, and sweeten the pot with a little taste. Offer a friends and family discount and ask them to pass this on to anyone they know!

And be confident in doing so!

This isn’t rocket science so don’t waste time being nervous!

Don’t overcomplicate the process. It’s easy and it will take no time! Set yourself a goal to send 5, 10, 15 emails a day until everyone you’ve ever met eyes with knows what you’re doing! Be friendly, but make them an offer they can’t refuse!

I’m going to let you in on a secret…

Humans want to be told what to do. If you tell them to take you up on a super special offer (make sure they know it’s only for a limited time!), they WILL do it!

Know that not everyone is going to bite.

And that’s okay!

All you have to do is break through the barrier of your warm market! Not only will this set up a good foundation, but it will give you a HUGE confidence boost!

Consistency is key!

The more you practice, the easier it will get.

This journey will feel messy and chaotic, but there ARE new habits you can form to make it less stressful.

To help you out I’ve decided to discount the action planner in my store, and I want you to take advantage of it. This planner is $497, but you can get it for only $27 right now!

It will keep you organized and focused on not only the steps I’ve mentioned above — but in every aspect needed to help grow your business!
